Happy Thursday! It's time for one more Throwback Thursday this month, which happens to be the last one from our guest designer, Angie Cimbalo. Make sure you comment on this post for a chance at a $15 prize code. Every month, we draw 7 winners, with the winners randomly drawn from all posts published during the month. The more posts you comment on, the more chances you have.
For her final Throwback Thursday post, Angie is sharing cards inspired by a card by STAMPgirl Shirley.
My second card uses the exact same stamps, the difference is I used Worn Lipstick and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks and not quite as much water for a darker look:
My digital sentiment was printed with the colors reversed. I use Pages on my MacBook with digital stamps and to get it this way, I duplicate the stamp and then pull up my "Tools" and reverse the colors by sliding the sliders in the "adjust color" tool to opposite sides and then save the image that way. This card also has lots of black marker dots around the edges of the stamped image and the same Fairy Sugar on the flowers.
I love Shirley's style and had so much fun using her beautiful inspiration for my creations!
Thanks so much to Shery for inviting me to guest design!
I've had so much fun working with STAMPlorations goodies!
